Leyland Daf ASGB

8metre 13ton dedicated sound truck and ideal for VT and Camera truck also

We are selling a Leyland (daf) truck with Smith GT bently built (ASGB) coachbuilt OB body,



Truck is 8 metre 13ton right hand drive (can be changed to left or right hand drive vehicle if needed) outside broadcast rigid vehicle.





Truck currently weighs approx 10.8ton when fully equipped.



Power steering, 6 speed gearbox, 2x passenger seats, hydraulic tilt cab of course.



Length of truck is about 8 metres (24 foot),



Mileage on truck is 62,000km only which is very low.



Truck has extra sound insulation in walls etc as was used for concerts. Currently setup as single room layout for a dedicated sound vehicle for 1 large sound mixer (calrec / neve) (was 7-8 foot across) and small editing mixer also).



There is 4 racks at the front and 2 side ones also, front of truck also has access ares and small rack units (accessible from side sides) and air con etc, mast compressor and storage locker also.





Vehicle could be used as sound vehicle again or converted for VT . EVS truck or full camera truck, uplink etc.



The OB body is a special coachbuilt by ASGB with aluminium etc (12cc wall thickness) plus has extra sound proofing plus sound absorbing panels etc inside body also.



Truck has rear ladder to access walk on roof (roof will take any weight ).



Currently truck has Clark air pneumatic mast mounted on outside of vehicle at front along with internal compressor plus controls.





Rear of truck for tailboard is ideal for cable drums (6 were installed).



Truck wuld need rewired again to be used of course so you are buying it as it is shown now. (most cables have ends cut of course. We will probably remove all video and audio cabling out of truck for buyer .





Truck also has front levelling legs and rear stablising legs



Rear axle of truck is air suspension also



Currently no mot on truck as has run out but if agreed with buyer, can mot, tax and insure truck again and delivery also depending on buyers location if needed.

Looking to support its growing client base with the latest digital video production equipment, Studios A/S, a leading independent facility house in Copenhagen, has upgraded the control rooms of two of its main production studios with two new Grass Valley™ Kayak™ video production switchers  – one HD and one SD .
 
The first installation (Kayak SD) was completed in the fall of 2009 to meet a tight deadline for a new game show that is now on the air. Once production of the show was successfully completed, the company’s management decided to order a second Kayak switcher (an HD version) to support the upgrade of its largest studio to full digital operations.

New Lens adaptors for the Sony NEX-VG10

Following a meeting at the Sony UK head office, we can reveal photos of the much awaited NEX-VG10 together with the MTF Nikon G and PL adaptors

Bill Drummond, the Sony European product manager was excited to see for himself MTFs new products designed for the NEX range.

Both the camera, together with our Nikon and PL adaptors will be with Sony at IBC and Photokina.

These MTF lens adaptors will be shipping around the end of September, prices to be announced soon

New Sony E Mount adaptors from MTF

sony lens mount With the introduction of the Sony NEX stills cameras, and NEX-VG10 camcorder later this year, we have started work on some new products to suit.
We are pleased to announce that the first of these are Worlds first PL to E mount and Nikon G to E mount adaptors.
 
As ever with all MTF products, these  are designed and manufactured in the UK  with extreme precision using HE30 aluminium and our own stainless steel E mount.
Also coming soon from MTF is a modular tripod or handheld support system specifically designed for these E mount and also for our Micro 4/3 lens adaptors.
Both of these new products together with other lens adaptors will be on the Sony stand at IBC and Photokina.
